C.A.P.S. CAVAN AUTISM PARENTS SUPPORT CLG

Cavan Autism Parents Support CLG is a registered charity and the first of it’s kind in Cavan, which has been solely set up to support the parents, carers and children/young adults with autism in Cavan and surrounding areas. It is organised and run by the Board of Management, Camp Leaders, PCA’s, carers and young volunteer carers.

CAPS provides services for autistic children and adults and their families.

C.A.P.S. is the brainchild of Bernie Nelson. At C.A.P.S. we conduct almost all of our work on a fundraising basis with little government funding. We certainly would not be able to provide any of these camps/activities without the ongoing support we get from our fundraising events throughout the year and our volunteers.

C.A.P.S not only provide events for children/young adults with autism but also for their parents and siblings.
