Walking with Memphis
Message from Kelly
Therapeutic Riding is not about teaching a child how to ride. We do not use saddles/stirrups or reins. The clients sits on a bareback pad with a handle to hold onto. The pony is led and I walk along side and coach the child. I offer 45 minute 1:1 sessions. All sessions are designed to meet the specific needs of the client. Shorter sessions can be offered to very young clients. Therapeutic Riding sessions can help with:
- Balance/Core Strength
- Flexibility
- Co-Ordination
- Focus/Attention Span/Memory
- Social and Communication Skills
- Self Esteem and Confidence
- Anxiety

We welcome all ages and abilities at Walking With Memphis Therapeutic Riding and have ponies available to suit all ages/heights etc. We are based in a beautiful peaceful location at Ross House Equestrian Centre. We work outdoors as much as possible but we do have access to a large indoor arena so we can run sessions all year round regardless of the weather.
